Your faith. His calling. Our community.

Jessup University is where Christ, community, and calling move together, through the people you meet and the work you begin.

LEGACY

OUR FIRM FOUNDATION

Long before students arrive and long after they graduate, our Mission, Vision and Statement of Faith hold Jessup steady. This is what we've built our house on since 1939. The convictions below shape every classroom, chapel and relationship on campus.

01
Mission

In partnership with the Church, the purpose of Jessup University is to educate transformational leaders for the glory of God.

02
vision

The Jessup University vision is that our graduates will be transformed and will help redeem world culture by providing notable servant leadership; by enriching family, church and community life; and by serving with distinction in their chosen career.

03
Statement  of Faith

We believe in one God, the maker of heaven and earth: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, as revealed in the Holy Bible and made known in Jesus Christ our Lord;

We believe that Jesus the divine Son became human, was born of a virgin, ministered in word and miracle, died for our sin, was raised bodily from the dead, ascended to God’s right hand and is coming again for His people;

We believe that the Holy Spirit is presently ministering through the Christian community, empowering lives of godliness and service;

We believe that the Holy Bible is completely God breathed, true in all its teaching, and the final authority for all matters of faith and practice;

We believe that Jesus Christ established His church on earth to carry out His saving mission among all ethnic groups and formed her to be one holy people;

We believe in God’s saving grace that calls forth from all people: faith, repentance, confession, baptism, and new life and ministry through the Spirit; and

We commit ourselves to the teachings, practice and defense of these truths until the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

YOU BELONG

Small by design

Small classes. Real mentors. No getting lost in the crowd.

With a 12:1 student-to-faculty ratio and around 1,300 students on campus, Jessup stays small enough that professors know your goals and your struggles, not just your student ID. Choose from more than 60 degrees and programs, and build a schedule that actually fits where you are headed. Mentors and classmates become part of your support system fast, so you’re never figuring things out completely on your own.

CAMPUS LIFE

ON and off campus

The 125-acre Rocklin campus mixes modern buildings with room to stroll. It's where most of campus life happens: chapel, athletics and dining hall conversations that run long. Step off campus and Northern California is our playground. Try Folsom Lake for a swim, Sacramento for downtown and Tahoe for a hike in the mountains.

Programs also extend to a San Jose location and fully online options, so you can stay connected to Jessup even if Rocklin isn't where you start. Wherever you land, the same community and mentors show up.

“I felt such a strong sense of community when I visited campus for the first time. Everyone was so welcoming. I immediately knew Jessup was a place where I would grow spiritually and personally.”

“At Jessup, I’m getting rigorous academics coupled with the ability to see how people live biblical lives. There’s lots of learning that takes place, but what makes it unique are the people I’m learning with and from.”

ON CAMPUS

"From the moment I arrived, I felt known. People remembered my name, asked about my story, and helped me picture a future here."
