FAQs

Answers to what prospective accounting students ask us most.

What are the admission requirements for graduate studies?

Graduate studies ask for a bachelor's degree from an institutionally accredited institution, official transcripts, a 3.0 GPA, a personal statement and letters of recommendation. An enrollment counselor can walk through the admissions process, upcoming start dates and requirements for international students, and an enrollment counselor can also map certificate units toward a master's program.

How does Jessup support student mental health?

Warrior Care provides counseling and wellness services, and support starts the moment you ask for it. Students can book confidential sessions with licensed counselors for anything from everyday stress to a harder season. The team also runs wellness programming throughout the year. If you’re ever unsure where to start, your resident director can point you straight to Warrior Care.

What are the residence halls like?

There are two residences to choose from on the Rocklin campus, The Block and The Village, each with its own personality. Resident assistants and directors live right there with you. Rooms range from traditional shared spaces to more independent options depending on your class year. Either way, you’re steps from the William Jessup Cafe, chapel and everyone else figuring out college life alongside you.

Do I have to live on campus?

Not every student lives on campus, but most new students do. Res Life makes the process simple. Housing forms are required for all new students and are submitted directly through the Jessup Housing Portal at housing.jessup.edu. Every resident also agrees to the rights and responsibilities outlined in the housing handbook. Once you’re logged in, you can track your application anytime and see your assignment once it posts.

What is there to do on campus?

Jessup University has a busy campus beyond the classroom. Join more than 20 clubs, organizations and activities, from intramural leagues to worship bands to a student government. Campus Ministries runs chapel and both local and global outreach trips throughout the year. There is always something happening within walking distance of your dorm, and Student Life keeps you updated about what’s coming up next.

What business degrees does Jessup offer?

Five, from a BS in Business Administration to the BAcc, MBA, and MAcc.
